A function, where you deliver the necessary software tools that enables others to deliver high quality hearing solutions across expertise areas like audiology, electro acoustics, embedded software, pc software and hardware? Our team and function
As our new Software Developer, you will become part of our Systems Engineering and Development Tool function. Our software team consists of nine software developers working in two Scrum teams, being located at both our headquarters in Denmark and our site in Poland. We are working in an agile set-up and enjoy knowledge sharing and sparring with each other. A number of the other developers are trained Scrum Masters, and we also see it as a benefit if you have training, experience and interest in taking the Scrum Master role in relevant cases.
We furthermore enjoy a close collaboration with software developers and architects in various R&D units, where you will have a central role in the development of our proprietary software tools. This enables product development across hardware, embedded and pc software platform. It furthermore includes a contribution to the software architecture and design, which are key fundamentals in our structured way of working within Software development generally. And finally yet importantly, our tools are primarily developed in C#.Net.
Your main task consists of developing high quality object oriented software. The job will however also give opportunity for coordination responsibilities both within the team and across development teams in the R&D organization. You will be involved in the whole process from requirement specifications over design, implementation and architecture to final test. Furthermore, you will be involved in the rollout of the tools, that you are developing, which also includes training of other developers in the use of the tools.
We are of course looking for our new Superman or Superwoman, but a little less will also do. Therefore, if you consider yourself as being a strong Software developer with an outgoing personality, who enjoys working together with many stakeholders and not being afraid of taking over the lead when needed, then we should meet.
We expect you to hold a relevant degree within software engineering or computer science. We are looking for a candidate, who has a very good understanding of how high quality and well-structured software is developed. A good analytical understanding of systems and solid documentation skills are also important. We are especially looking for the following competencies:
Solid foundation in C#/.NET programming and application development
Strong .NET competencies, including LINQ, WPF and Entity Framework
Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
Experience and strong interest of agile methods and scrum
Fluency in English and high level of Danish language skills
Experience with product development (both hardware and software) is a plus
Experience with XML and XML schemas is a plus
