Do you dream of working with Research and Development (R&D)? Do you have experience with Synthetic Chemistry and Chromatography? Then you might be our new lab technician for our Resin R&D team at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech (NNPR).

About the department
We are approximately 25 employees in the R&D department consisting of principal scientists, chemists and laboratory technicians. You will become laboratory technician for the "Resin R&D team" which consists of 10 dedicated and talented employees. The team consists of both chemists and laboratory technicians. The core expertise of the team lies in preparation of new solid phase materials, including ion exchange/mixed mode and immuno-affinity adsorbents to improve current processes and solve new challenges.
We work in close collaboration with our scientific colleagues at Novo Nordisk to develop optimal purification solutions for new and existing medicines to improve our patient’s lives. The atmosphere is relaxed and creative and we always strive to improve the way we do things.
As an experienced technician your key responsibilities will be the preparation of new solid phase materials, including ion exchange/mixed mode adsorbents to improve current processes and solve new challenges.
You will carry out daily planning of your work, synthesis of key intermediates and final resins, analysis and evaluation of both the physical and functional properties of the final resins. You will record and report your scientific work and share your learnings with the team, project teams and other colleagues.
Educated as a Laboratory Technician (Laborant), ideally with at least 5 years’ experience and preferably as special laboratory technician. As an experienced technician you will also have extensive knowledge in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and solid phase synthesis would be an advantage. Furthermore, you have experience with preparative chromatography and preferably super user of ÄKTA systems and Unicorn software. You are a strong team player with a good understanding of the chemical sciences.
You have good attention to detail and are conscious of working safety in the lab. You are dynamic, flexible and able to cope with change, dedicated to ‘making a difference’ and ready to ‘go the extra mile’ when faced with challenges.
