Do you want to play a key role in the qualification and maintenance of climate facilities used for development of future injectable drug product and be a part of a dynamic working environment with challenging assignments? Then this might be the job for you!
We are looking for a person who is motivated by securing high quality of our climate facilities.
About the department
Injectable Formulation & Process Development is part of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development, a sub division of our Research & Development organisation. The departments is the link between our research unit and our production and are responsible for developing formulation and processes for new injectable products all the way from early development to phase III clinical trials and registration.
The development projects in the department include all injectables, comprising of GLP-1 products, insulins, haemophilia products, monoclonal antibodies and growth hormones. The department has approximately 65 employees in total, divided in 4 teams and is located in Måløv. An important task in the department is conducting stability studies, where qualified climate facilities are a key responsibility.
Stability studies are key to all our development projects across portfolios and all members of our department. We offer you a position where you will help ensure that the facilities for our studies fulfil all requirements and that the validated state is established and maintained. This include evaluation and implementation of new/updated requirements for our currently qualified facilities, input and review of documentation and validation activities of not yet qualified cabinets, maintaining validated state for example by Periodic System Evaluation (PSE) and generally contribute to building a strong knowledge on qualification within our department.
You will interact with internal stake holders, such as Quality Assurance (QA), building maintenance and other departments owning climate facilities.
Furthermore, you will interact with external stake holders, such as external consultants and you will be expected to present relevant documentation to Health Authorities during inspections. You will share these responsibilities with another chemist and technicians in the department.
You hold a Master of Science, possibly combined with a PhD, in Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biochemistry or another relevant scientific discipline. It is an advantage if you have working experience within qualification of facilities, equipment or similar, but it is not a requirement.
However it is very important that you have a strong motivation and drive for handling validation and maintenance activities for facilities and for assuring the right quality level. You have strong communication skills both verbally and written in English and it is an advantage if you are able to handle spoken and written Danish.
