Project Manager in Group Marketing and Sales Development

You join the Group Marketing & Sales Development department responsible for developing the key customer touch points in the organization. We look at how to handle our customers in terms of people processes and tools in order to optimise the sales organization. Thus, we work to develop and optimise processes and competencies and truly implement value creation both locally and globally in Grundfos. You join a team of 16 colleagues who work with projects at different levels of the organization, and you become part of a performance-oriented culture and a great collegial atmosphere.
What is the job about?
You will be responsible for developing, implementing and driving projects in the Grundfos sales organization in order to optimise our sales processes, tools and capabilities. This includes analysis and identification as well as concept development. With more than 60 sales companies around the world, your work takes a truly global scope, as you support making global sales processes work across different cultures and markets.
Essentially the projects you will be working with aim to continuously develop and adjust Grundfos sales processes to be “Industry Best in Customer Interactions” across all relevant customer touch points.
You ensure alignment with key stakeholders in Sales, our IT department, Supply Chain, Marketing and Segments and further implementation across all Grundfos sales regions, making sure projects meet or exceed the set objectives and create real value for our customers. Furthermore, you help develop and support general Sales Excellence initiatives through, for example, Sales Excellence training.
In this position, you ensure successful realisation of complex projects within cost, time and quality constraints. In doing so, you partner with department managers and regional stakeholders to locate opportunities and develop and prioritise projects according to relevant measurement criteria.
“Being project manager, you provide your expertise and support to the sales organization through close collaboration with a regional network of colleagues. Your challenge in this is to drive projects through a global matrix organization to create value across countries, time zones and departments, ” says Group Senior Director in Marketing and Sales Development Rasmus Christian Andersen.
What do you need to apply?
Preferably, you hold a master’s degree in business administration combined with good experience and a proven track record in working with project management and driving strategic projects in a global organization. Touching upon change management, perhaps you have previously rolled out a pipeline management project, and you have business and financial acumen – preferably through previous sales experience. You speak and write English fluently.

Being a strong communicator, you drive progress through many different stakeholders globally and know how to work through your network. You need to be independent because you will drive initiatives on your own, and it will be up to you to teach, engage and motivate your colleagues in change processes and programmes, ” Rasmus finishes.
