Are you interested in driving innovation, adapting to new trends and technologies? Our Product Line Management department is looking for a Trainee with a strong commercial and technical knowledge to support innovation activities within our team.
In order to adapt rapidly to constantly changing market conditions, we gather and develop innovation ideas from inception to launch, channelling creativity throughout the business and building robust business cases. You will help us maintain and expand our position as a world-leading supplier to the cement industry.
Within the Product Line Management team, you will help the innovation manager:
· Gather, structure and evaluate innovation ideas to do with smart parts. This will require collaboration skills, creative thinking, understanding the business implications of new technologies.
· Meet potential suppliers of such technologies and assess them for potential collaboration and integration into our products
· Help prepare detailed business cases for new R&D projects, including open innovation proposals
The position is an unpaid project and we foresee a duration of approximately 3-6 months – of course with due consideration to your time schedule, plans and exams.
Who are we looking for?
You are about to finalise your master degree and have excellent analytical, communications and collaboration skills. Preferably your degree combines technical and business knowledge and is related to innovation, design, entrepreneurship, or business development.
It is important that you are quick to learn about new machines or technology, and have prior experience preparing business cases. This work is of high importance and you will have the opportunity to communicate your results to a wide audience, so communications skills are a plus.
You have a curious mind and take on challenges with a positive attitude.
We expect you to be flexible, eager to learn and able to adapt to a corporate environment. Please note that our corporate language is English, so proficiency in this language is a must.
