Are you proactive, stakeholder oriented and analytically strong? Do you want to work with business case analyses for marketed and pipeline products and do you have an interest in risk assessments? Then Capacity Planning in Novo Nordisk is looking for a new Capacity Partner.

About the department
Capacity Planning is part of Product Supply (PS) Business Support in Novo Nordisk’s production unit, Product Supply. The department is responsible for long term supply/demand analyses, the PS business plan, strategic business cases, facilitation of PS/Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) collaboration and long term risk assessment of PS production capacities.

The position
In Capacity Planning, we work in close cooperation with the other departments in PS Business Support, production sites and business support units across PS as well as risk management functions in Novo Nordisk. Our approach is to act as a strategic partner, analysing the capacity and risk implications of our current and future production set up. The basis for our work is strong analytical skills, a stakeholder mind-set and a good understanding of the business in which we operate.

As Capacity Partner you will be responsible for the annual update of our risk outlook in Product Supply, analysing, estimating and communicating the supply risks associated with current and planned production facilities. This in turn is used as key inputs towards the annual renewal of the overall Novo Nordisk insurance policy. In addition to this you will continuously be involved in business case analyses, estimating how changes in our products and/or processes will impact Product Supply.

You will consequently have an opportunity to make a difference in terms of analyses and recommendations to senior management and you will drive activities and projects that support a robust and cost effective capacity expansion of a global production footprint.

Qualifications
We expect that you have a higher education (preferably Master’s degree) within a relevant discipline e.g. Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business or Economics. Excellent stakeholder management skills, an analytical mind-set and an ability to work proactively and independently with an assignment will be assets. You must moreover have experience with or interest in (preferably pharmaceutical) production management and planning.

As a person you have a high energy, a positive attitude and an openness towards other people and new ideas. Experience with risk assessment and business case analyses from a production support function will be an advantage. We expect you to be confident with data retrieval, analysis, complex decision making environments and management presentations. You master English fluently both written and spoken.
