Help develop and run the insights setup of tomorrow
Your overall objective is to enable GO (Global Production, Global Procurement and Global Supply Chain) to optimise the performance. GO counts 14 productions sites in 10 countries, a spend on app. 300m Euro spread on app. 1.700 suppliers and 5 regional distribution centres handling more than 2.2m sales orders to more than 100 countries. As such, you get the chance to deliver insights across a wide number of business critical data. Your primary tasks will be to:
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques and mathematical models
- Develop reports/ KPI’s/ dashboards as requested by business
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources for analytical purposes
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics…
- Propose and investigate opportunities for new analyses that can drive valuable insights and change
Across your tasks you will work closely together with business stakeholders to prioritize business and information needs. You can look forward to travel approx. 20 days per year, primarily to meet your team colleagues in the US and Hungary.
Experience within data analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis or related
You have a degree at minimum Bachelor’s level in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Information Management, Economics, Statistics or similar. This is backed by experience from working with data analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis or related. Your skills cover:
- Technical expertise within data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of reporting packages, databases and programming
- Experience within R and/or Python
- Strong command of reporting tools like Microsoft Reporting Services, Qlik view or similar
On the personal level you must thrive in an outgoing role where you have a close interaction with multiple colleagues across the business. As such, you will need an open-minded approach towards people with very different cultural and professional backgrounds – and the ability to adjust your communication to fit your audience.
Your new team
You will join 10 IT and Data Professionals in Global Operations Analytics. We are based at 3 production and supply chain hot spots (Denmark, the US and Hungary). You will join 5 colleagues at the Nilfisk HQ in Brøndby, Greater Copenhagen. Here you will be part of an informal and dynamic environment characterised by mutual respect and room for having a good time together.
